Lovely on my skin. No reactions or itching. I use a little bit warm it in the palm of my hand and lighthly rub into dry skin. Shea butter in general is not a perfumed oil so do not expect "perfume" smell as its an oil based product, it is not suppose to smell good and no it does not smell bad to me. It works well and I saw a difference in my skin on face and body within 2 days of use. I had very very dry skin.
